In preparation of the event, Miss Ting-Ting Lee organised a Canoe Slalom Judge Clinic for 40 students from the Chienkuo Technology University. Some of the group used to paddle so the course was helpful to reinforce the knowledge most already had of judging and event organisation. There was a great response from the students ensuring that at any future events, the various issues and any problems concerning organisation and judging will be easily solved.
